I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, before my family moved to Washington, DC. I graduated high school in Virginia Beach, VA, and after high school, I went on to play college basketball at Lee University in Tennessee. After my playing days, I finished my degree at Liberty University. Then, I returned to Virginia Beach to become an Athletic Director and High School basketball coach for over 18 years - winning over 300 games and winning three state championships. I met my wife, Rebecca in high school, and we have been married for 29 years. We have two sons, Noah, a TV producer at the Cowboy Channel, and Jonah (CCA, 2020), a student at UTEP.
