EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC TEACHER, Grades PK3 yr old - Kindergarten (.80 FTE)

  • PreK3 year old - Kindergarten music instruction
  • Teach using singing, movement, listening activities, playing instruments, and musical games.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHER, Grades 7-8 (Full time)

  • Pre-Algebra (Honors or Grade Level)
  • Algebra I (Honors)

MIDDLE SCHOOL LATIN TEACHER, Grades 5-6 (Full time)

  • Responsible for 5th & 6th grade Introductory Latin instruction. Must possess facility with the Latin language and experience in using spoken Latin in the classroom.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STRINGS TEACHER, Grades 5-12 (.80 FTE with benefits) 

  • Teach beginning and intermediate strings classes for grades 5-12 
  • Organize and direct 2 concerts per year
  • Optional private lesson instruction through our School of the Arts program is available for additional pay

MIDDLE SCHOOL THEATER TEACHER, Grades 5-6 (Full time)

  • Teach fundamentals of drama for students in 5th - 6th grades with a large emphasis on body language, voice, diction, posture, characterization, and use of the body on stage.
  • Prepare 7th-8th grade students for productions including basics of set/lighting design, costuming, stage makeup, monologues, theatre genres, stage combat, and pratfalls. 
  • Direct one-act play and assist with High School productions including the Spring Musical
  • Technical theater experience is a plus.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS HISTORY, Grades 9-10 (Full time)

  • Teach 9th & 10th Grade Honors History
  • Western Civilization to A.D. 500 and A.D. 500-1600
  • Involve students through Socratic discussion and debate.

HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE, Chemistry/Physics/AP Biology/AP Chemistry (multiple positions) (Full or Part Time)

  • Teach 10th grade Chemistry - 3 sections
  • Teach 11th grade Physics - 3 sections
  • 12th grade AP/Dual Credit Biology (Requires a Masters degree with at least 18 hours of Biology)
  • 12th grade AP/Dual Credit Chemistry (Requires a Masters degree with at least 18 hours of Chemistry)
  • Competitive, negotiable compensation based on education and experience
  • Positions may be part-time or Physics may be combined with AP Biology or Chemistry for full-time employment.

HIGH SCHOOL MATH, Grades 9-12 (Full time)

May teach a combination of the following based upon experience and interest level - 

  • Algebra I,
  • Algebra II,
  • Geometry, or
  • Pre-Calculus,
  • AP/Dual Credit Calculus AB
  • Dual Credit Applied Calculus

FINE ARTS EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - (Full Time)

  • Assist the Performing Arts Director, Visual Arts Director, and Fine Arts Teachers with communication, schedules, events, special projects, programs, social media, and clerical support. 
  • Must have proven administrative experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, capacity to multi-task, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills. Experience with MS Office and Google Docs is essential. Prior college coursework/degree is preferred.

Applicants for all positions should:

  • Be able to articulate a Christian worldview based on an active life of faith in Jesus Christ and faithful attendance in an evangelical church.
  • Have a degree in the field of teaching for which they are applying, or its equivalent.

Applicants for teaching positions should also:

  • Be able to describe the general distinctives of classical Christian schooling as compared with other conventional forms of education.
  • Be able to articulate a motivation to disciple students in an educational environment like CCA.
