Applicants for teaching positions should:

  1. Be able to articulate a Christian worldview based on an active life of faith in Jesus Christ and faithful attendance in an evangelical church.
  2. Have a degree in the field of teaching for which they are applying, or its equivalent.
  3. Be able to describe the general distinctives of classical Christian schooling as compared with other conventional forms of education.
  4. Be able to articulate a motivation to disciple students in an educational environment like CCA.

AP BIOLOGY  (part time)

  • 12th grade AP/Dual Credit Biology (1 section). Requires a Master’s degree in any field with at least 18 hours of graduate Biology
  • Position is part-time or may be combined with other positions for full-time employment if desired.


  • 10th grade Chemistry or 11th grade Physics
  • Position is part-time or may be combined with another position for full-time employment


  • Partner with students and parents to guide them through the college search, application, admission, and financial aid process throughout high school.

  • Establish relationships with colleges and universities.

  • Oversee standardized testing, transcripts, eligibility, and class scheduling. 

BIBLE  (9th-12th grades)

  • Masters degrees in theology/biblical studies/philosophy preferred
  • Early career teachers w/ strong academic record considered
  • Compensation negotiable based on education and experience

MATH (9th-12th grades) 

  • The ideal candidate will have at least three years of math instruction experience at the high school level.
  • Must be passionate about their faith, the discipline of mathematics, and the students they teach.
  • Candidates should be eager to work as part of our departmental team to further strengthen our college preparatory program.



  • Teach on a team specializing in ELA as well as general subjects
  • Emphasize grammar, writing, and introduce middle school level reading
  • Early career teachers w/ strong academic record considered


  • Teach general music classes for students in 1st – 6th grades. 
  • Responsible for all areas of curriculum instruction as well as grade level programs.
  • Requirements include a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a specialization in elementary music education, demonstrated excellence in the classroom, thorough knowledge of best practices including Kodaly, Orff, etc., excellent communication and organizational skills

(5th-12th grades)

  • Teach choral music classes 
  • Responsible for several concert performances and competitions
  • Serve as the chorus master for the spring musical theater production
  • Requires a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a specialization in choral music education
