Paul Laywell
I am a native of Richardson, Texas, and earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Texas A&M University. Over the course of my teaching career, I've developed science departments at three different schools. I have taught everything from seventh-grade Earth science to Advanced Placement Biology and Advanced Placement Chemistry. I joined the CCA faculty in 2006.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? It's been so long, I can't remember...
Why do you choose to work at CCA? I believe I am called to do so.
What is one fun fact about you? I am an adrenaline junkie.
What is your favorite book of all time? The Bible is my favorite book because it is capable of revealing something new and profound every time you read it.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? a fountain Diet Coke or a good cookie
