Melissa Conklin
I received my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. My career started in Spring ISD before I accepted a role with Math Solutions to provide Math professional development for teachers across the country. I am the author of two books for elementary teachers and a series editor for subsequent books. My husband, Jacob, and I live in Colleyville with our four daughters and attend First Colleyville Church.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a teacher!
Why do you choose to work at CCA? I enjoy supporting the classroom teachers as we work to implement Math lessons that develop lifelong learners and students who enjoy math.
What is one fun fact about you? I love Pickleball.
What is your favorite book of all time? I have too many to choose just one.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? A hug from my kids or family and dessert is a close second.
What do you like to do for fun? Our family loves to play games or be outside. I love to go out to eat or jog on the weekends.
