Leslie Jennings
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995 from UT Austin and earned a Master's Degree in Nursing Education in 2007. In addition to working as a perioperative registered nurse, I have worked as a faculty member at UT Arlington since 2010. I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing and will graduate in May 2023. My children graduated from Covenant (2017 and 2018), and I am thrilled to work in the science department here.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher!
Why do you choose to work at CCA? CCA shaped so much of my children's lives, and the Lord called me to work here.
What is one fun fact about you? I once walked 46.5 miles in 3 days (at Disneyworld!)
What is your favorite book of all time? Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery - I loved her spunk, love for learning, and friendships!
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? A call from one of my children
What do you like to do for fun? Travel, read a good book, or spend time with family
