Kathryn Sandoval
I am an accidental Latin teacher! My first love of English and linguistics (B.A. English Texas A&M University) has evolved into a career teaching Spanish and Latin. I have over a decade of teaching experience, teaching nearly every grade level from Pre-School to 12th grade. I am also a student working on her Master of Humanities at the University of Dallas.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I want(ed) to be a ranch hand and horse trainer.
Why do you choose to work at CCA? I chose CCA for location. I stay at CCA because it is home, and I see the kind of people it is helping my children to become.
What is one fun fact about you? I have synesthesia. I hear the color red.
What is your favorite book of all time? That's like picking a favorite child. It cannot be done.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? A smiling teenager
