Joy Hale
I was born in Irving, Texas, where I met my husband of 25 years, Charlie. We began our family in Irving. We have four children Bailee (CCA alumni), Ellie (CCA alumni), Charles (11th), and Gabe (9th). We moved closer to Colleyville when our oldest daughter started 1st grade at CCA. One of the greatest blessings in life is being a wife and mother. I earned a Bachelor of Business from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. I love how the Lord has used my business and ministry training in my job over the years at CCA. I am passionate about family ministry, and I am so thankful my current position at CCA includes equipping and caring for families.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Teacher or entrepreneur
Why do you choose to work at CCA? I love praying and caring for families as we partner with them to raise children to make a kingdom difference in the world.
What is one fun fact about you? In high school, I was the carhop of the year for Sonic in the state of Texas.
What is your favorite book of all time? I love all kinds of books. There is no way I can pick just one. I love Frankenstein, When God Weeps, Green Lights, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, and anything by Bob Goff just to name a few.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? Coffee and time to myself
What do you like to do for fun? reading, hiking, a good Hulu binge with my husband, and going out to eat with my family
