Jordan Rodriguez
I was born in Lubbock, Texas but grew up in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Dallas Christian School, I attended Abilene Christian University. I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. After my husband Chris and I married, we moved from Abilene to Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended Texas A&M School of Law. I worked as a licensed social worker for a foster and adoption agency. After that, I worked in an elementary school in the HEB school district, where I was the school social worker. I worked there from 2013 to 2017. I resigned from social work after I had my first son James in 2017, and I stayed at home with him until 2019. In 2019 I started work at The Hills Preschool and taught the 2’s class from 2019 to 2022. I now have a second son Jaxon who is two. He attends Red Apple School of Peace, and my oldest son James attends Covenant Christian in the 4’s class. I enjoy my time here at CCA and hope to teach at CCA for many years to come.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a singer.
Why do you choose to work at CCA? My son attends CCA, and I love to teach!
What is one fun fact about you? I love the beach! My family goes to Florida every summer.
What is your favorite book of all time? Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers - I have read this book, so many times I lost count. It tells of God's redeeming love and how it is never too late to turn your heart to Him.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? Yummy food
What do you like to do for fun? I love to read and spend time with my family.
