A Michigan native who has lived in Texas for the last nine years, I received my undergraduate degree in political science from the College of Wooster, and my law degree and master's in business administration from Michigan State University. I am the owner of Moose Tracks Ice Cream, a popular nationwide brand. My work experience also includes several years teaching government at Tarrant County College and six years serving as a missionary in Russia and Ukraine. My daughters Alexa, Ariel, and Mica have been attending CCA since we moved to Texas, and my wife Jane leads the CCA branch of Moms in Prayer.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? an astronaut
Why do you choose to work at CCA? Being able to teach students of this caliber in an environment that encourages faith is a real joy.
What is one fun fact about you? My spleen is twice the size of a normal human spleen. It may not mean much now but when I die, there's going to be a bidding war.
What is your favorite book of all time? Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy - It's hauntingly beautiful and tragic.
