Devin Schneider
I grew up in Bedford and attended Covenant Christian Academy from Pre-K through Senior year. I graduated from CCA in 2008. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M in 2012 and went on to earn my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from A&M in 2013. When I lived in Dallas, I taught in the Dallas ISD for one year. I then moved back to the Mid-Cities area and taught in HEB ISD for the last nine years. I am going into my eleventh year of teaching, and I am very excited to be coming back to Covenant.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a teacher.
Why do you choose to work at CCA? Growing up at CCA, I loved the community and the Christ-centered culture. I am excited to be returning to this community.
What is one fun fact about you? I enjoy reading cookbooks.
What is your favorite book of all time? My favorite book of all time is probably The Lord of the Rings because it takes the reader on an epic journey in a battle between good and evil, and good wins.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? Good coffee
What do you like to do for fun? I enjoy going on walks when it is cooler or reading a book.
