I grew up in Hurst-Euless-Bedford. I went to Central Junior High and graduated from Trinity in Euless, TX. I grew up an only child. I always wanted to have multiple children because I knew how life was as an only child. At Trinity high school, I was a 3-sport athlete, lettering in baseball, football, and track. I played baseball in college at Galveston College, Huston-Tillotson University, and Florida State. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Christian Ministries/Health/Kinesiology. I coached baseball and football at Lake Country Christian School, where I was the first-ever head football coach. I also coached at Bethesda and Grapevine Faith. I have five awesome children, ages ranging from 3 to 27. My youngest daughter is currently a student at CCA in Mrs. Perona’s class.
