Our program is marked by its competitive high-pace, gritty, and selfless play style. More importantly, our coaching staff truly believes our style of play is a reflection of the powerful tool that basketball is in forging the hearts and minds of young men to prepare them for their lives beyond the court.

Meet the coaching staff
Our coaching staff teaches and seeks to model John Wooden’s definition of success – “peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable.” It is the program’s ultimate shared belief that if each player applies their greatest effort to apply this definition of success to the game of basketball, not only will they enjoy the fruits of athletic success, but more importantly, they will be prepared to endure what is necessary to enjoy true success and fulfillment in life spiritually, personally, and professionally upon graduation, regardless of their endeavors.
Bryan Brown
Varsity head coach
Coach Brown enters his 7th year of coaching High School Basketball. A native of Lubbock, Texas, Coach Brown attended Texas Tech University, and began his coaching career while he was a student there. Prior to arriving at CCA, Coach Brown was an assistant coach at Trinity Christian in Lubbock before moving on to Hilton Head Christian in South Carolina, where he spent time as an assistant before ultimately becoming the Head Coach.

Coach Peters, or as his players have commonly called him, “Coach T,” brings valuable experience and character to the program. He has had coaching stints at both the high school and collegiate levels, most recently at Dallas College Mountain View. Prior to his time there, he spent time as both an assistant and Head Coach at Harvest Christian in Keller.
