Cheerleading - Varsity & Junior High
Lady Cougar Varsity Cheerleaders are the State Champions for 2018, 2016 and 2015 as well as the State Runner-Ups for 2019 and 2017.
Our Cheerleading program is available for girls in Grades 7-12. They are passionate about spreading Cougar spirit on our campus and cheering all CCA teams on to victory.
Head Coach, Kyla Cox, is in her 2nd year of coaching at CCA. Cheerleading and gymnastics were always her passion. Cheer was her main sport school and she finished out her cheerleading career with two years in co-ed cheer at Paris Junior College. She loves the intense athletic component that jumping, stunting, and tumbling bring to the sport as well as the way cheerleading draws out servant-hearted kindness and community building in our students.
Junior High Cheerleaders are coached by Alli Seghers and Casey Taylor.
