Everything You Need to Take the Next Step
Once you’ve chosen the best private school for your child, you still wonder:
How long will the application process take?
Is educational testing required?
What documents do I need?
At Covenant Christian Academy, we want this process to feel straightforward. Everything you need — each step, requirement, and point of preparation — is gathered here so you can move ahead without wondering what comes next. Additionally, our admissions team is here to support you as you explore our school.
A Simple, 4-Part Guide for Admissions
1. Apply Today
Submit your online application to begin the process. You’ll need to create an admissions account and share a few initial details about your child so our team can prepare the next steps.
Families are welcome to apply at any time. However, because some grade levels fill up quickly — especially in preschool — the best time to apply is by Feb. 15.

2. Assessments and Interviews
Once we receive your application, we’ll reach out to schedule the age-appropriate assessments and interviews. These appointments typically happen soon after submission, helping the process move along steadily and without long gaps between steps.
3. Admissions Committee Review
Our team meets regularly to review completed applications, assessments, and interviews. If a grade level is full, qualified applicants are placed in a wait pool and considered as openings become available.
4. Enrollment Invitation
When a decision is made, you’ll receive an email along with your electronic enrollment contract. Texas Education Savings Account (ESA) funds are accepted at CCA, and we advise families to apply for ESA funds as early as possible to explore whether they might be available to support your tuition costs. If you are also pursuing tuition assistance, you can learn more on our Tuition and Financial Aid pages.

Why CCA Uses Admissions Testing and How It Fits Into the Bigger Picture
We use admissions testing to help students — and our partnership with parents — succeed. The testing allows us to quickly understand each child’s academic strengths and areas for growth. It helps us place students in appropriate classes, provide targeted support, and ensure they can engage meaningfully with our classical curriculum. We share this information with families, so they have insight into their child’s current learning profile and can better support their child’s academic and spiritual development.
