Susan Emison
I'm originally from the southeast side of Houston in a suburb along the way to Galveston. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. I then moved to San Francisco to work for Gap, Inc. and to San Diego to work for ADP, Inc. I moved back to Houston and married my husband Bobby in the summer of 2006. We lived in Richmond/Katy for a few years and then decided we wanted an adventure and to experience the four seasons with our two boys. So we moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota, and lived there for nine years. I recently worked as the Marketing and Communications Director at the boys' school, Liberty Classical Academy, for five years.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A backup dancer for Janet Jackson
Why do you choose to work at CCA? The people, the students, and the community!
What is one fun fact about you? I ran a marathon in Anchorage, Alaska, and jumped off a bridge in New Zealand!
What is your favorite book of all time? The BIBLE - It has poetry, action, adventure - and tells the life of the most amazing man who loves me to my core - Jesus Christ.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? A smile and an encouraging word!
What do you like to do for fun? I love to be with friends and go out to eat!
