Meredith Sontag
Over the past 15 years, I've been fortunate to teach varying age groups from elementary to the collegiate level. As a Texas panhandle native, I'm passionate about music education in this great state! I earned an MM in Musical Theatre Performance (Cum Laude) from Arizona State University and a BM in Vocal Performance (Magna Cum Laude) from Texas Tech University. I am proud to serve as the TPSMEA Region 2 Coordinator, and I enjoy singing with Voices of Fort Worth under the direction of Dr. Jerome Biershenck. My husband and I live in North Richland Hills with our two sweet children, who attend CCA with me.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? An astronaut
Why do you choose to work at CCA? I choose to work at CCA because this school is passionate about teaching children to love and serve the Lord. Everyone here strives to show the love of Christ to their students.
What is one fun fact about you? I can't whistle!
What is your favorite book of all time? The Harry Potter Series is my all-time favorite book series. I love everything about these books, but I can't pick an absolute favorite!
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? A kind note, or a favorite drink!
What do you like to do for fun? I enjoy attending concerts/shows, reading, and seeing movies!
