The Genuine Gift of Christian Education

what my school means to me

When I attended a tour night in 2017, I learned CCA's mission statement is to provide a biblically-based, classical, college preparatory education that inspires a passion for excellence, a heart of grace, and the character of Christ. CCA immediately captured my heart and felt like home. CCA means “home” to me, and home is where the heart is.

Here are a few experiences that explain why CCA means "home" to me:

The Heart of Jesus

When my daughter started in Pre-Grammar, her teacher sat in her chair and prayed for her before she arrived each morning. Last spring, when we switched to online learning, the first Google Classroom lesson we watched was about the heart. Who was in your heart? Was it Jesus? Praise the Lord! Our family thoughtfully watched this lesson. Later that summer, our daughter asked Jesus into her heart! Thank you, Jesus, for a teacher's heart to show them Jesus in all things!

why i love my school

A Lifelong Love of Learning

It is a blessing to experience nurturing a lifelong love of learning at CCA. As my daughter entered Grammar School and my son the Pre-Grammar School, their teachers have taken them to new levels academically and socially, opening new doors of purpose, calling, and critical thinking. They love to praise Jesus with their teachers and learn that through Him, they can do all things!

Christlike Community

a school community i loveHow can I begin to explain? Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. We trust together, pray for our kids together, and watch God move. I am thankful for my CCA friends who have lifted me up and pointed me to His truth and grace. I am grateful and humbled that I get to do life with heroes of the faith.

It is a blessing to call CCA home!

Jesus,

Thank you for CCA! Thank you for the faithful, praying hands that founded and built our school. Thank you for teachers and administrators who pour their heart, Your heart, into our kids! Thank you for the unique calling You have for each of our kids to share Your love with the world. Jesus, fill us up with Your love and send us out for Your glory. We pray that the love we have received will multiply in many hearts. Thank you that no matter where we go, we can call CCA “home.”

In Your Name I Pray,

Amen
