Greetings from the Grammar School Head
Grammar School plays a formative role in a child’s educational experience. Our program is designed to prepare students to master the foundational knowledge and skills needed to advance through our curriculum.
In the grammar phase of classical education, children’s minds are ready to absorb information through memorization and guided practice. CCA students are challenged with a rigorous, developmentally appropriate program. Godly teachers—who are ACSI and state certified—nurture children spiritually, academically, and socially in a traditional classroom environment. Enrichment classes in computer, art, music, physical education and library offer additional opportunities for students to become well-rounded individuals and to discover their God-given abilities and talents.
Grammar School students have consistently earned top honors in ACSI speech, art, music, and mathematics competitions. In addition to these events, CCA provides a rich and varied line-up of special events, chapel speakers, class mission projects and field trips that encourage and stimulate each child’s natural curiosity and desire to learn and to serve the needs of others.
