Keith J. Castello has served as Headmaster at CovenantChristianAcademy since 2004. He was called to Covenant in 1998 when he came aboard as a Latin and AP English/History teacher.
Mr. Castello is familiar with the scope of Covenant’s program, having taught in every academic department in his time at Covenant. He has also been involved in the video production and musical theater programs, and has coached football, basketball, and tennis at CCA.
Prior to joining Covenant, he was a writing instructor at CollinCountyCommunity College and an SAT instructor for SylvanLearningCenter. In 2004, he was ordained to the gospel ministry of Christian education at MemorialBaptistChurch in Grapevine.
Mr. Castello earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of North Texas, and a master’s degree in Humanities from the University of Dallas. He is currently working on a second master’s degree and PhD at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Mr. Castello, a native of Texas, resides in Hurst. He and his wife, Alicia, have been married since 1994 and have two sons.
