First Friday

The fulfillment of Covenant Christian Academy's mission statement and core values is influenced in great measure by the quality of professional development opportunities offered to our faculty.  Although proper training for teachers is essential prior to ever setting foot in a classroom, much professional growth takes place after the teaching career has begun.  For this reason, we are implementing a new faculty/staff development program called First Friday for the 2010-2011 school year.  We will take the afternoon of five Fridays during the year to provide training opportunities for our faculty/staff utilizing internal expertise as well as input from external experts. This will mean a half day for all students on the days of our First Friday Program.

First Friday dates for 2010-2011:  September 3, October 3, December 3, February 4, and April 1.
Dismissal Times:  Pre-Grammar and Grammar School: 11:45 a.m.
Logic and Rhetoric School: 12:00 noon
