Covenant Christian Academy's 2011-2012 school calendar shows the first and last days of school along with holidays, teacher in-service days, and First Fridays.

The fulfillment of Covenant Christian Academy's mission statement and core values is influenced in great measure by the quality of professional development opportunities offered to our faculty.  Although proper training for teachers is essential prior to ever setting foot in a classroom, much professional growth takes place after the teaching career has begun. 

For this reason, we offer our faculty and staff opportunities for development through our "First Fridays."  Five Friday afternoons during the school year, we dismiss school early and provide training opportunities for our faculty/staff, utilizing internal expertise as well as input from external experts.  This means a half day for all students on the days of our First Friday Program (see key on calendar).
